• *PlanitEasy** is a fast-growing travel technology company building its own end-to-end booking platform. The product is evolving from a proposal tool into a fully integrated booking engine, and the engineering team is globally distributed across India and the United States.
• ## Descrição da vaga
• We're looking for a **Senior Back-end Engineer** for a hands-on, high-impact role at the core of the product. This is a newly created position, opened to expand the team's technical expertise and improve timezone coverage with the U.S. The focus is GDS integration — **SABRE** in particular — and the back-end services that power the booking workflows.
• *What you'll do:**
• Design, build and maintain integrations with SABRE APIs and/or other GDS systems
• Develop and enhance the booking engine (hotels, flights, and future travel services)
• Work on back-end services and APIs powering booking, ticketing and cancellations
• Collaborate with engineering, product and QA teams across different timezones
• Own features end-to-end, from design to production
• Ensure scalability, performance and reliability of integrations and systems
• Contribute to engineering maturity: code quality, testing and architecture
• ## Local
• 100% remote, open to candidates across Latin America. Overlap with U.S. working hours is required.
• ## Requisitos
• *Obrigatórios:**
• Strong experience in travel technology / travel domain
• Hands-on experience with **SABRE APIs**
• 5–10+ years of back-end engineering experience, or equivalent expertise
• Proficiency in **PHP**
• RESTful API design
• Professional English for day-to-day work with a distributed team
• *Desejáveis:**
• Other GDS platforms such as Amadeus or Travelport
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Background working across multiple timezones in distributed teams
